Nuclear Leap

Nuclear Leap is a platform game with vertical scroll for PC. It is developed with C ++ and SFML in Linux by a group of 5 students of Multimedia Engineering. It is the final practice of the subject «Foundations of Video Games».

It is a game inspired by the union of two games that we love, such as the Nuclear Thone and the Leap Day. Putting together the gameplay of a platform game with the concept of mutations that give you extra skills.

All the art of the game is obtained from these two games because the purpose of the project was only to learn the basic structure of a game.

One of the distinctive things about Nuclear Leap is that the map is generated randomly every time we start a new game.
The level design and the programming of the random generation of maps were my main contributions to the project.
